Care Guide
Care Guide
To care for your woollen garments, hand-washing is recommended over dry cleaning.
Use liquid hand soap, not regular detergent, in lukewarm water for a 5-minute soak. Gently squeeze, don't rub, the garment.
Rinse in warm water with a bit of almond oil for fragrance and wool restoration.
Afterward, roll the damp garment in a towel to remove excess water, reshape, and dry it flat on a clean towel, away from direct heat sources.
Ensure the garment is completely dry before storing it.

This design is a contemporary take on the Scottish fairisle yoke pattern with a small rib hem around the hip. Above the long rib cuffs is small pattern detailing mimicking a bracelet. Our colours take months to prepare and each year we offer new colourways. The cardigan is front opening and lined with grosgrain ribbon to hold the mother of pearl shell buttons. The cuffs are extra-long for extra warmth or to fit longer arms.
Knitted in 100% soft merino wool, spun in Yorkshire, North England.
Knitted in the EU by our small family run factory.
The shape and sizing is slim fit and is hip length.
Please see size guide for UK / EU / US sizing. If you enjoy a looser fit, please choose the next size up.
Matching accessories are available (made in Scotland)

I loved my navy Alpine cardi and this pink one looks even more gorgeous. I got the medium as the small blue did not wash as well as I would have hoped 🥴. It has only had 2 gentle hand washes. I do the cuffs more often as they are yellow and get grubby.
Longing for a long time to buy this item. I even was saving for this cardigan. And now I am the happy owner. So soft and warm and beautiful.
Mjög falleg peysa. Mig hefur alltaf langað í svona peysu eftir að ég var á ferðalagi í Kirkwall
I bought this cardigan for my fiancé, we originally saw it in Fort Augustus but they didn't have her size, and she loves it. The colours are gorgeous and rich, it is really well made and looks fantastic on her. I had to swallow a bit at the price but I realise it is hand made and really well done so hopefully it will last her for decades.
