Her mantra, “working together for the benefit of everyone,” transformed the male-dominated textile industry of the 1980s. While many worked in isolation, Rosemary built a culture of collaboration, nurturing relationships with factories, spinners, hand-knitters, suppliers, buyers and customers. She believes that sharing knowledge and resources is the only way to sustain and reinvigorate this centuries-old Scottish industry.
