Founded in 2016 by Catryna, Thistle and Tweed began with a simple idea to create an eclectic collection of ladies knitwear and beautiful accessories that could not be found on the high street. With a long standing love of wool and design led pieces, her focus has always been on sourcing garments that feel both distinctive and wearable.
Alongside carefully selected brands, their collection also includes original designs made locally in the Scottish Borders by skilled artisans, adding a truly personal touch.

What began as a small venture has grown into a much loved shop in the heart of Jedburgh. Since opening a permanent space in 2018, Thistle and Tweed has expanded its offering to include Scottish gifts, accessories and jewellery, all curated with the same thoughtful approach.
At its heart, the shop reflects Catryna’s love of people and connection, a welcoming space built on community as much as style.
