IONA CRAFT SHOP

IONA CRAFT SHOP

On the beautiful Scottish Isle of Iona, Michael and Kate Gordon sell what can only be described as a treasure trove of Scotland’s finest crafted products.

Iona Craft Shop is however SO much more than just a shop. Over the last few years is has be-come something of a hub for the island, with people sitting outside enjoying delicious coffee and free wifi, while others are inside browsing through amazing knitwear, wool kits spun from the local sheep on the island and other exclusive products.

Isla the store manager told us, “All the staff in the shop love the Eribé designs as much as the customers. There’s a style to suit everyone. My favourite it the pioneer slouch [main image] as it’s flattering, bright and can be worn for smart or casual. When you live somewhere that’s cold and rainy 90% of the time it’s nice to have warmer layers that still look stylish and fun and don’t make you look enormous.“

Michael added “Customers are always delighted to discover Eribe products, and there's a no-ticeable sense of excitement on the island when a new delivery arrives. Thanks to their clever design the garments suit all shapes and sizes - most local ladies own at least one piece in their wardrobe. We were at a birthday party last week where two people arrived wearing the same Eribe jumper, but again thanks to clever design one was able to reverse hers and the problem was solved.”

Why not think about visiting this inspirational place when you are next planning a travel adven-ture? It is sure to be an unforgettable experience.
