Ethical Fashion Award 2008

ERIBÉ won the Federation of Small Businesses Scotland award on June 18th. The photograph shows staff from ERIBÉ Knitwear Design together with FSB members at the award dinner in Glasgow.

On 5th June 2008 ERIBÉ won the UK Fashion Award 2008 for Ethical Fashion. Rosemary travelled to London for the Awards Ceremony and meal where she met HRH Princess Anne as well as the other award winners, Orla Kiely and Joseph Ettedgui.

Gold Award for Exporter of the Year went to Orla Kiely. Joseph Ettedgui, founder of the Joseph shops, won the Export Personality of the Year award.

Ciel and Eco-Boudoir had also been nominated.

"Top prize in the Ethical Fashion category went to Eribé. Headed by Rosemary Eribé, the collection includes 100% undyed Scottish knitwear as well as designs created by 100 handknitters. The ecology collection was launched in 1994."
