Part 1: How to wear AW14's new colours

Part 1: How to wear AW14's new colours

There's a definite nip in the air now. Time to wrap up in our inviting new collection, Fairy Tales from Scotland.

To ensure you can find the perfect colour to match your mood, our knitwear designers create multiple colourways each season. For autumn winter 2014, we named them after magical Scottish creatures and motifs found in local folklore; Pixie, Selkie, Spark, Wisp and Folk.

The whole ERIBÉ team loves colour because it makes you look happy and youthful. Our designers are colour experts; they know which colours will suit which hair colours and the think carefully about which colours should be placed next to the face. Often our designs feature two times as many colours as you would find in other companies' designs.

To share our knowledge we’ve put together a quick guide on how to wear our new colourways. Part 1 takes a look at Pixie and Selkie.

1. Pixie colourway

Pixie colourway is a neutral base with pops of green, yellow and pink. The touches of colour allow it to be either a soft look or bold look; some pieces are tasteful and elegant like this Fox and Wren Scarf whilst others can be playful like the Forest Fingerless Gloves. This colourway looks great paired with camels and tan leather. A refined, feminine colourway that suits fair skin-tones.

2. Selkie colourway

Dark and mysterious, this colourway has a base of dark chestnut brown with an elderberry melange. It has accents of shades of Lichen grey, green and leafy yellow. This colourway will fit right in with your sophisticated, professional work wardrobe. Key pieces include striped Harmony Hat and Gloves. It is an incredibly easy to wear colourway especially if you have dark hair or just like dark colours.
